DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Response time monitor
  • Poor connector connection
  • HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
  • PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Vehicle speed is greater than 20km/h (12.43MPH)
  • Barometric pressure is greater than 75 kPa
  • Temperature of the front HO2S tip is greater than 720°C (1328°F)
  • Time of the upstream HO2S heating is greater than 70s
  • Temperature of the downstream HO2S tip is greater than 635°C (1175°F)
  • Time of the downstream HO2S heating is greater than 80s
  • Difference between lambda setting value and actual value is below 0.098
  • Engine coolant temperature is greater than 50°C (122°F)
  • Output voltage of downstream HO2S is greater than 0.6V
  • Engine load is greater than 19%
  • Catalyst temperature is between 370 and 930°C (698 and 1706°F)
  • Engine speed is between 992 and 3008 RPM
  • Activate lambda control
Threshold Value
  • HO2S voltage changing time is greater than 0.8s (rich to lean)
Diagnostic Time
  • 25s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
