Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check (low)
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short to ground in harness
  • IATS
  • PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 10 and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Difference between the IATS model value and the measured temperature sensor is greater than 8.25°C (46.85°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
