Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Heater performance check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short to ground in power circuit
  • HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 2) heater
Enable Conditions
  • Time after sensor heating for sensor active is greater than 115s (after dew point)
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Element resistance is greater than 800Ω
Diagnostic Time
  • 10s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
