DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Heater performance check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 1) heater
  • Faulty HO2S circuit
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 11 and 16V
  • Time after sensor heating for sensor active is greater than 20s (after dew point)
Threshold Value
  • Ceramic temperature is below 690°C (1274°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 20s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
