DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty ECM/PCM
Enable Condition
  • Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value Case1
  • Abnormal growth of alivecounter value of EMS message
Case2
  • Abnormal growth of alivecounter value of EMS message in SCC option
Warning Lamp Case1
  • ESP, DBC, AVH, EPB
Case2
  • None
Disable Condition Case1 - ESP
  • After ignition off/on, when EMS CAN message alivecount signal is normally received consecutive 3 times
Case1 - EPB
  • When EMS CAN message alivecount signal is normally received, fault is normal recovery in the same ignition cycle
