| DTC Strategy |
|
- Incorrect wheel speed sensor mounting (air gap)
- Wheel speed sensor knuckle mounting bolt bad connection
- Deformation/contamination of tone wheel and poor performance
- External mechanical interference (vibration)
- Defective rotor and wheel bearing
- Faulty wheel speed sensor
- Faulty sensor circuit
- Faulty HECU
|
| Enable Condition |
- Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
- Engine "ON", driving more than 24.9MPH
|
| Threshold Value |
ESP |
- Speed pulse of WSS is not detected for more than 0.3s
|
| EPB |
- A failure is detected when the ECU recognizes wheel speed change of ±100g from one wheel
- When a brake pedal is stepped on, and wheel speed is rapidly changed for more than 20s
- When a brake pedal is not stepped on, and wheel speed is rapidly changed for more than 5s
- In case that more than three wheel speed change are rapidly for more than 1s
|
| Warning Lamp |
- EBD, ABS, ESP, DBC, AVH, EPB
|
| Disable Condition |
ESP |
- When all wheel speed is normal after driving more than 7.45MPH after the ignition switch turns off and then on
|
| EPB |
- When three or more WSS signals are normal
