DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check resistance
  • Short circuit of the DBS to the ground
  • Poor wiring and connector connection
  • Check the SRSCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON" or engine "ON"
Threshold Value
  • DBS circuit is open or short to ground
Diagnostic Time
  • 1s
Recovery Time
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition
  • MIL "ON"
CAUTION: * Do not replace the SRSCM due to a history fault.
