Squib Circuit Inspection
NOTE:
If dummy and dummy adaptor are not able to be prepared, use a 2Ω resistor.
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect the auxiliary battery (-) cable and wait for 5 minutes or more.
- Remove the DBPT module and connect the dummy and dummy adapter to the DBPT module connector.
- Connect the auxiliary battery (-) cable and ignition "ON" and wait for 30s or more.
- Connect KDS to Data Link Connector (DLC) and clear DTC with KDS and diagnose again.
- Are any DTCs stored in the system?
Good
- Go to "MAIN HARNESS CIRCUIT INSPECTION" procedure.
No Good
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace DBPT module and then Go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
