DIAGNOSTIC CODE DESCRIPTION
| Separation | Diagnosis Code | Remark |
|---|---|---|
| Save data when failure occurs | Diagnosis Code 1 = average pre-charging current | The information can be confirmed with the phrase |
- If the average pre-charging current is over 2A, it can be judged as a failure due to malfunction of other high voltage systems (need to check other high voltage systems)
Good
- Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then Go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
No Good
- Go to "WIRING INSPECTION " procedure.
* Check LDC capacitor voltage in freeze frame data.
If Info Code1 is less than 2A and the voltage of LDC capacitor has formed over 92% of the voltage of battery pack, it is a problem on the motor inverter. It is necessary to inspect the inverter. If Info Code1 is greater than 2A, other high voltage parts operate abnormally, so it is necessary to inspect high voltage parts (LDC, A/C inverter, motor inverter, etc). However, in such case, pre-charging resistance may have been already damaged by fire resulting from malfunction of other parts, so check the resistance and if it is already damaged, it is necessary to replace it.
