Repair Procedures: Removal: Notes

WARNING:
  • When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
  • When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
  • When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
  1. Remove the console upper cover.

    (Refer to Floor Console - "CONSOLE UPPER COVER ")

  2. Remove the floor console tray (A) by removing the mounting screws.

  3. Disconnect the connectors (A).

  4. Remove the floor console side cover (A) by using a flat-head screwdriver or remover

    [LH]

  5. Remove the storage box tray (A).

  6. Remove the storage box pad (A).

  7. Disconnect the console main connector (A).

  8. Remove the floor console assembly (A) by removing the mounting screws and bolts.

    Tightening torque: 

    6.9 - 9.8 N-m (0.7 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.0 - 7.2 lb.ft, 60.7 - 86.7 lb.in)
