Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the hybrid drive motor assembly.

    (Refer to Hybrid Motor System - "HYBRID DRIVE MOTOR ASSEMBLY ")

  2. Remove the upper snap ring (A).

    IMPORTANT:
    1. Press the engine clutch piston (A) in the direction of the arrow.

    2. With the engine clutch piston pressed, remove the snap ring (A) by pushing it outward using a (-) screwdriver.

  3. Remove the engine clutch retainer assembly (A).

  4. Remove the thrust washer (A).

  5. Remove the engine clutch hub assembly (A).

  6. Remove the thrust washer (A).

  7. Remove the engine clutch select pressure plate (A).

  8. Remove the engine clutch disk set (A).

  9. Remove the lower snap ring (A).

    Information 

    Remove the snap ring (A) using a (-) screwdriver.

  10. Remove the oil seal when reusing the hybrid drive motor.

    (Refer to Hybrid Motor Assembly - "OIL SEAL ")
