Repair Procedures: Removal

Open the fuel filler door (A).

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")
Open the fuel filler cap (A) by turning it in the counter clockwise.

Remove the rear wheel guard [LH].
(Refer to Body - "REAR WHEEL GUARD ")
Separate the hoses.
1. Fuel filler hose
2. Leveling hose
3. Ventilation hose

Remove the filler-neck assembly (A) by removing the mounting nut.
Tightening torque:

7.9 - 11.7 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.6 lb.ft)
