Repair Procedures: Installation

WARNING:
- When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
NOTE:
Rear Corner Radar Type
- When rear bumper replacement, remove the inside/outside label or attached foreign matter. (Otherwise, rear side radar may improperly operate.)
- Use only genuine parts to repair the rear bumper where the rear corner radar is located.
- Do not apply license plate molding or foreign objects such as a bumper sticker or a bumper guard near the radar sensor. Doing so may adversely affect the sensing performance of the radar.
- The system may not work properly if the rear bumper has been repaired, or paint has been applied near the rear corner radar.
- The system may not work properly if the rear corner radar is covered with foreign matters, such as snow, rain or dirt, etc.
- The system may not work properly if the bumper around the rear corner radar is impacted, damaged or the radar is out of position.
