Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")

  2. Remove the rear engine room under cover (A) after removing the mounting bolts and nuts.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.9 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  3. Disconnect the EGR temperature sensor connector (A).

  4. Remove the EGR temperature sensor (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    19.7 - 29.4 N.m (2.0 - 3.0 kgf.m, 14.5 - 21.6 lb.ft)
