Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING:
- When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
- Recover the refrigerant with a recovery/recycling/charging station.
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")
- Remove the front bumper beam assembly.
(Refer to Body - "FRONT BUMPER BEAM ASSEMBLY ")
- Separate the discharge line (A) and the suction line (B) of the condenser by removing the mounting nuts.
Tightening torque:
21.5 - 32.3 N.m (2.2 - 3.3 kgf.m, 15.9 - 23.8 lb-ft)
- Remove the upper air guard (A) by removing the bolts.
- Remove the side air guard (A) by removing the mounting bolts.
- Remove the refrigerant pipe And tube assembly (A) by removing the bolt and nuts.
Tightening Torque: 0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m
- Remove the condenser (A) from radiator assembly.
