Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the engine room under cover.

    (Refer to Engine and Transaxle - " ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER  "  )

  2. Remove the coolant drain plug and drain the coolant.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")

  3. Remove the reservoir tank.
    1. Disconnect the reservoir return hose (A).

    2. Disconnect the degaussing hose (B).

    3. Remove the reservoir tank (C).

      Tightening torque: 

      7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  5. Fill with coolant.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")

    NOTE: Refill the coolant according to the Integrated Flow Control Valve (ITM) coolant filling method.
