Repair Procedures: Removal

- Disconnect the negative battery (-) terminal.
- Drain the coolant from the hybrid cooling system.
(Refer to Hybrid Motor Cooling System - "COOLANT ")
- Remove the front bumper assembly.
(Refer to Body - "FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the air cleaner duct (A) after separating the fastener.
- Remove the air cleaner shield guard (A) after removing the bolts.
- Remove the radiator upper air guard (A) after removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)
- Unscrew the screw and separate the left air guard (A) on the front radiator.
Tightening torque:
3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.lt, 34.7 - 52.1 lb.in)
- Remove the radiator lower air guard (A) after removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)
- Remove the ambient temperature sensor (A).
- Separate the radiator lower hose (A).
- Remove the radiator upper hose mounting bolt (A).
Tightening torque:
4.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.5 - 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.8 lb.ft, 43.4 - 69.4 lb.in)
- Remove the radiator (A) from radiator assembly removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:
4.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.5 - 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.8 lb.ft, 43.4 - 69.4 lb.in)
- Separate the radiator upper hose (A).
