Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Open the luggage mat (A).

  2. Remove the auxiliary battery service cover (A).

  3. Disconnect the auxiliary 12V negative (-) battery terminal (A) after loosening the nut.

    Tightening torque  :

    7.9 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb.ft)

  4. Disconnect the auxiliary 12V negative (+) battery terminal (A) after loosening the nut.

    Tightening torque  :

    7.9 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb.ft)

  5. Separate the battery exhaust hose (A).

  6. Remove the auxiliary battery (A) after removing the auxiliary battery bracket by removing the mounting bolts.

    Tightening torque  :

    8.9 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)
