DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Circuit Malfunction
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short to ground in position sensor circuit
  • Faulty the position sensor
  • Faulty the SCU
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON" (diagnose even when engine is "ON")
  • Auxiliary battery voltage is greater than 10V
Threshold Value
  • Short to ground or open in signal circuit (S1, S2 PWM duty 0 to 1%)
Detecting Time
  • 4s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
