Monitor KDS Data

Ignition "ON". Tailgate Switch "ON/OFF".	Connect KDS to "Data Link Connector (DLC)". Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with KDS. Operate the "Tailgate Inner Switch" or "Tailgate Outer Handle Switch".	Fig.1 to 2

Good

Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in PTGM's connector or was repaired and PTGM memory was not cleared.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Repair or replace as necessary, go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.

No Good

Go to "WIRING INSPECTION " procedure.
