Inspection Procedure

  1. Check fuses and relays.
  2. Check auxiliary battery terminals and charge status.
  3. Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

    Good 

    • Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair or replace as necessary, go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.

    No Good 

    • Repair as necessary, go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
    • If the symptoms persist, replace power tailgate latch assembly and perform the relevant procedure.
