DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the voltage
  • Faulty latch switch
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty PTGM
  • Latch switch circuit open or short
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery voltage 9V to 16V
  • Monitor latch signal changes within 2 seconds of output of latch release command
Threshold Value
  • Latch is not released within 2s after ordering latch release
Detecting Time
  • 2s
