Circuit Inspection

Module Circuit Inspection
Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  2. Ignition "ON".
BMS connector 1, 2, 12 (power) Chassis ground - B+
  1. Ignition "OFF", remove the safety plug.
  2. Disconnect auxiliary battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
BMS connector 32, 33
(ground)
Chassis ground   Approx. below 1Ω

Good

CAN Communication Line Inspection
Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Connect VMI to KDS and launch the oscilloscope (2 channel)
  3. Ignition "ON".
BMS connector 11 (G-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.1
BMS connector 10 (G-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect auxiliary battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
BMS connector 11 (G-CAN high) BMS connector 10 (G-CAN low) Approx. 60Ω
OBC connector 8 (G-CAN high) BMS connector 11 (G-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
OBC connector 16 (G-CAN low) BMS connector 10 (G-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω
