DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor CAN signal
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty G-CAN, E-CAN communication
  • Faulty CLU
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery voltage (9 to 16V)
  • HCU ready "ON"
  • No DTC U000188, U015587
  • If the condition above is satisfied and it is held for more than 0.5s
Threshold Value
  • Abnormal CLU signal via CAN for more 2s
DTC Erasing
  • Failure to achieve the threshold value
DTC Confirmation
  • 2 driving cycles
