DTC U0100-87: Lost Communication With ECM/PCM 'A' (P-CAN): General Description

The CANFD (Controller Area Network with Flexible Data rate) is an improved communication system from the existing CAN system. It is the same bus type structure as the existing CAN system and the data transmission speed has been improved from 1Mbps to 8Mbps. G-CAN and H-CAN are used for efficient information sharing between hybrid systems such as BMS, HCU, and MCU and ECM. Through G-CAN and H-CAN communication, each control unit shares important signals to perform efficient and optimal control.
