DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the temperature sensor voltage
  • Abnormal temperature sensor circuit
  • Faulty temperature sensor
  • Faulty cooling system
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery voltage (9 to 16V)
  • Engine "OFF" holding time is more than 480 minutes
  • Coolant shortage diagnostic isn't occurs
  • No MCU CAN communication fault
  • No MCU temperature sensor error data
  • EWP "ON" holding time is more than 10s
Threshold Value
  • Difference between heatsink temperature and LDC temperature is higher than 30°C (86°F)
DTC Erasing
  • 10s
DTC Confirmation
  • 1 driving cycle
