Detecting Condition |
Possible Cause |
| DTC Strategy |
- Comparing generator (HSG) RPM and engine RPM
|
- Belt cut
- Lack of belt tension
- Abnormal belt installation
- Contamination of belt (water, foreign material etc)
- Faulty belt
- Faulty HSG
|
| Enable Condition |
Case 1 |
- Ignition "ON"
- HCU ready "ON"
- No ECM and MCU fault
- Auxiliary battery voltage (10 to 16V)
- No CAN communication fault
- Normal MCU/HSG
- HSG cranking (Case 1, case 2)
|
| Threshold Value |
Case 1 |
- Belt slip condition (integrating)
- Difference between engine speed and HSG correction speed is higher than 1000 RPM
- If the summation of difference between engine speed and HSG correction speed is higher than 200000 RPM, the 1 counter increase (DTC will occur if the counter is higher than 100 times)
|
| Case 2 |
- Belt slip condition (continuously)
- Difference between engine speed and HSG correction speed is higher than 500 RPM (according to engine coolants temperature)
|
| Case 3 |
- Belt breakage condition
- Sum of difference between engine speed and HSG correction speed is higher than specific value (according to engine coolants temperature)
