AVN power/ground & CAN communication line inspection
Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  2. Ignition "ON".
AVN connector 10, 11, 22, 33 (power) Chassis ground - B+
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
AVN connector 12, 13 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "ON".
ICU connector 29 (G-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.1
ICU connector 30 (G-CAN low) Chassis ground -
AVN connector 7 (M-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.2
AVN connector 20 (M-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect auxiliary battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
AVN connector 7 (M-CAN high) ICU connector 26 (M-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
AVN connector 20 (M-CAN low) ICU connector 10 (M-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω

  2. Ignition "ON".
Roof antenna connector 1 (RADIO OUT) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
Roof antenna connector 2 (GNSS OUT) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
Roof antenna connector 3 (SXM OUT) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
Roof antenna connector 4 (LTE1 OUT) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
Crash pad antenna connector 1 (LTE2 OUT) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
Roof antenna connector 1 (RADIO OUT) AVN connector 1 (RADIO) Approx. below 1Ω
Roof antenna connector 2 (GNSS OUT) AVN connector 1 (GNSS) Approx. below 1Ω
Roof antenna connector 3 (SXM OUT) AVN connector 1 (SXM) Approx. below 1Ω
