DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Data check
  • Non immobilizer system equipped ECM
  • Faulty HCU
  • Faulty ECM
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery voltage (9 to 16V)
  • HCU ready "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Data from the ECM are not correspondent with the HCU data
DTC Erasing
  • Failure to achieve the threshold value
DTC Confirmation
  • 2 driving cycles
