DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the temperature sensor voltage
  • Faulty temperature sensor
  • Abnormal temperature sensor circuit
  • Open to temperature sensor
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery voltage (9 to 16V)
  • Engine "OFF" holding time is more than 480 minutes
  • Coolant shortage diagnostic isn't occurs
  • No MCU CAN communication fault
  • No MCU error data during more than 10s
  • EWP "ON" holding time is more than 10s
Threshold Value
  • Temperature sensing voltage is more than 4.8V
  • Heatsink temperature is higher than 32°F (0°C)
  • Inverter IGBT temperature is higher than 32°F (0°C)
Diagnostic Time
  • 10s
DTC Confirmation
  • 1 driving cycle
