DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check engine system & charging system
  • Faulty engine system
  • Faulty HSG system
  • Faulty drive motor system
  • Faulty BMS system
  • Faulty charging or discharging system
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery voltage (10 to 16V)
  • HCU ready "ON"
  • HEV ready "ON"
  • No CAN communication fault
  • BMS, MCU, GCU, ECU, TCU controllable
  • Electrical load is lower than 1.75 kW
  • Gradient is lower than 5%
  • APS is lower than 50%
  • Vehicle speed is higher than 19.31 km/h (119.9 MPH)
Threshold Value
  • The SOC takes more than 270 seconds to reach more than 32% from 30% or less (reset the counter if more than 20% of APS operations are more than 4 times for 30 seconds)
