DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN signal monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short in E-CAN high line
  • Short in E-CAN low line
  • Short circuit between CAN high and low line
  • Faulty modules that connected to E-CAN
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • E-CAN bus "OFF" is detected
Diagnosis Time
  • 2s
Symptom
  • E-CAN communication is not possible
Erase Condition
  • Erase with KDS after the failure solved
