DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN signal monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open in B-CAN line between ICU and IBU
  • Open in P-CAN line between ICU and IBU
  • Faulty IBU
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage status (auxiliary battery voltage is 9 to 16V)
  • B-CAN bus is normal
Threshold Value
  • IBU CAN message is not received
Diagnosis Time
  • 10s
Symptom
  • Abnormal signal in IBU message
Erase Condition
  • Erase with KDS after the failure solved
