| Current data | Normal | Abnormal |
|---|---|---|
| MCU Inverter Temperature | -40°C to 145°C (-104 to 293°F) | Not normal value |
| GCU Temperature | -30°C to 105°C (-86 to 221°F) | Not normal value |
| MCU Data 2-36 | -40 to 65°C (-104 to 149°F) | Not normal value |
Good
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the drive motor temperature sensor or HPCU connector or was repaired and module memory was not cleared.
- This can be an failure of drive motor cooling caused by fault of the PE parts coolant and the cooling system. (inspect EWP and coolant)
- Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
No Good
- When there are no temperature sensor related DTCs and the cooling system is normal, replace the HPCU with a working test sample, and check for proper operation.
- If the drive motor is operating normally, replace the drive motor and perform the "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
CAUTION:
Perform
"Motor/HSG Resolver Calibration" with KDS in Case HPCU or motor is replaced or repaired, and then operate Electric Water Pump (EWP) to recirculate and refill coolant.
