DTC P0A40-00: Drive Motor 'A' Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance: General Description

Drive motor resolver sensor, which is located inside the drive motor, detects position and speed of the drive motor rotor.

MCU controls drive motor according to the position and speed of the drive motor rotor which is detected by drive motor resolver sensor.
