Active Fault
- Check the GCU high voltage input power cable connector or MCU high voltage power cable connector for connection status (Locking device damaged, defective terminals, terminals and wiring connections), looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Ignition "OFF" → Waiting for 10s → Ignition "ON" → Perform the MCU's "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" → Check the "State" of the DTC expressed
- If the DTC's "State" is "History/Pending", re-check the connector connection and then go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
- If the DTC's "State" is "Active", repair or replace HPCU and then go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
History/Pending Fault
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the HPCU's connector or was repaired and module memory was not cleared.
- Check the connector for connection status (Locking device damaged, defective terminals, terminals and wiring connections), looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
CAUTION:
Perform
"Motor/HSG Resolver Calibration" with KDS in Case HPCU or motor is replaced or repaired, and then operate Electric Water Pump (EWP) to recirculate and refill coolant.
