DIAGNOSTIC CODE DESCRIPTION
| Separation | Diagnosis Code | Remark |
|---|---|---|
| Informanin Code 1 | Diagnosis Code 1 = average pre-charging current | The information can be confirmed with the phrase |
| 1 | Pre-charging by the LDC power | |
| 2 | High voltage short circuit with average pre-charging current exceeding 1A | |
| 4 | High voltage circuit abnormalities, excluding high voltage path abnormalities and high voltage component behavior abnormalities, with precharging average current less than 1A | |
| 8 | Indicates the OPU operation state before the Main Relay is "ON" during precharging 1 : "ON", 0 : "OFF" |
|
| 16 | Indicates the LDC operation state before the Main Relay is "ON" during precharging 1 : "ON", 0 : "OFF" |
|
| 32 | Indicates the A/C compressor operation state before the Main Relay is "ON" during precharging 1 : "ON", 0 : "OFF" |
|
| 64 | Indicates the MCU operation state before the Main Relay is "ON" during precharging 1 : "ON", 0 : "OFF" |
|
| 128 | Indicates the HSG operation state before the Main Relay is "ON" during precharging 1 : "ON", 0 : "OFF" |
|
| Informanin Code 2 | 1 | Indicates the PTC heater operation state before the Main Relay is "ON" during precharging 1 : "ON", 0 : "OFF" |
| 2 | Indicates the BHDC heater (only FCEV) operation state before the Main Relay is "ON" during precha1 : "ON", 0 : "OFF"rging | |
| 4 | Precharging, capacitor voltage variation greater than 50V | |
| 8 | Indicates the OPD operation state 1 : "ON", 0 : "OFF" |
|
| 16 | OPD circuit anomaly (only OPD) | |
| Informanin Code 3 | V | MCU Capacitor Max Voltage During Precharge (V) Actual Value = Displayed Value * 2 |
| Informanin Code 4 | A | Average current during precharging (0.1A) Actual value = Display value * 0.1 |
- If the average pre-charging current is over 2A, it can be judged as a failure due to malfunction of other high voltage systems (need to check other high voltage systems)
Good
- Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then Go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
No Good
- Go to "WIRING INSPECTION " procedure.
* Check LDC capacitor voltage in freeze frame data.
If Info Code1 is less than 2A and the voltage of LDC capacitor has formed over 92% of the voltage of battery pack, it is a problem on the motor inverter. It is necessary to inspect the inverter. If Info Code1 is greater than 2A, other high voltage parts operate abnormally, so it is necessary to inspect high voltage parts (LDC, A/C inverter, motor inverter, etc). However, in such case, pre-charging resistance may have been already damaged by fire resulting from malfunction of other parts, so check the resistance and if it is already damaged, it is necessary to replace it.
