DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check, stuck
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short or open in fuel level sender signal circuit
  • Fuel level sender
Enable Conditions
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (10 to 16V)
  • Engine "ON"
  • Accumulated fuel consumption is higher than 21L
  • No DTC of fuel level sensor (P046200, P046300)
Threshold Value
  • Absolute value of Fuel level change (actual) is less than 5% (after 17L of fuel consumption)
Diagnostic Time
  • 90s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
