DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Noisy signal check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty ELCM
  • Faulty evaporative system
Enable Conditions
  • Vehicle speed is 31 km/h (0 mph)
  • Engine speed is 0 RPM
  • Ignition "OFF"
  • No related failures
  • Ambient air pressure is greater than 75 kPa
  • ECU soaking time is greater than 5 hour
  • Modeled ambient air temperature is greater than 4°C (39°F)
  • Fuel tank level is less than 85%
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (10 to 16V)
Threshold Value
  • When the difference between the maximum value of the ELCM pressure sensor and the minimum value of the pressure sensor is greater than 0.14 kPa (every 10s)
Diagnostic Time
  • 30s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
