DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty ELCM
  • Short to ground in circuit
  • Short to battery in circuit
Enable Conditions
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (10 to 16V)
Threshold Value Case 1
  • ELCM vacuum pump motor output voltage is less than 1.91V (ECU power stage diagnosis)
Case 2
  • ELCM vacuum pump motor output current is greater than 8A (ECU power stage diagnosis)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
