DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy  
  • Consistency checks
  
  • Poor connector connection
  • Clogged air clean
  • ECM (BPS)
Enable Conditions  
  • Engine speed is less than 1000 RPM
  • Throttle position is less than 8%
Threshold Value Case 1  
  • Difference between barometric pressure and boost pressure is greater than 2.5 kPa
  • Change amount of barometric pressure from last cycle is greater than 10 kPa
  • Change amount of barometric pressure is less than -5 kPa every 20s
Case 2  
  • Difference between barometric pressure and boost pressure is less than -2.5 kPa
  • Absolute value change amount of barometric pressure from last cycle is greater than 10 kPa
  • Change amount of barometric pressure is less than 5 kPa every 20s
Diagnostic Time  
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition  
  • 2 driving cycles
