DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy  
  • Monitor thermostat
  
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short circuit
  • ITM
Enable Conditions  
  • Engine running (Need a heating engine)
  • Ambient air temperature is higher than -6°C (21.2°F)
  • Low speed percent is lower than 60% (Vehicle speed is slower than 331 km/h)
  • Idle engine percent is lower than 50%
Threshold Value  
  • When actual coolant temperature is lower than 55.5°C (131.9°F)
Diagnostic Time  
  • 0.05s
MIL ON Condition  
  • 2 driving cycles
