DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Secondary fuel trim, too lean
  • Poor connector connection
  • Air leak in exhaust system
  • Faulty three-way catalytic converter
Enable Conditions
  • Modelled catalyst temperature is between 350 and 900°C (662 and 1652°F)
  • ECT is higher than 55°C (131°F)
  • Required lambda is 1
  • Exhaust gas mass flow is between 4.2 and 55.6g/s
  • Accumulated exhaust gas mass is greater than 150g
Threshold Value
  • When downstream O2 sensor lambda control is higher than 0.06
Diagnostic Time
  • 20s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
