DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor angle sensor and hole sensor
  • Poor connector connection
  • CVVD motor
  • CVVD motor position sensor
  • CVVD hole sensor
  • Open or short circuit
Enable Conditions
  • Complete learning CVVD
  • No error which is relative to CVVD communication
  • No error which is relative to CVVD position sensor
Threshold Value
  • When difference between angle sensor and hole sensor is higher than 10%
Diagnostic Time
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
