DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor EGR temperature and other temperature sensor
  • Poor connector connection
  • EGR temperature sensor
  • ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine is off for 6 hours
  • Difference is lower than -2.25°C (27.95°F) in engine starting and ECT is lower than 50.25°C (122.45°F) then as 30s passes after start engine
Threshold Value
  • When difference between averaged temperature of other temperature sensors and EGR temperature is higher than 20°C (68°F) at start-up
Diagnostic Time
  • 9s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
