DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Maximum or minimum error of difference between target angle and actual angle during cold start strategy
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty catalyst
  • ECM
  • VVT (intake)
Enable Conditions
  • Enable condition of VVT control is active
  • Catalyst heating is active
Threshold Value
  • Absolute of difference between target angle and actual angle is greater than 6degree
Diagnostic Time
  • 5s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
