DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the voltage
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short circuit
  • EOTS
Enable Conditions
  • Vehicle speed is slower than 3231 km/h (203 mi/h)
  • Variable capacity oil pump is closed
  • No DTC of oil pressure sensor or variable solenoid valve
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Difference between actual oil pressure and target oil pressure is lower than -1000 hPa
Case 2
  • Difference between actual oil pressure and target oil pressure is higher than 350 hPa
Diagnostic Time
  • 15s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
