DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy Case 1
  • Engine speed is above the target while idle speed control torque is around the minimum
  • Poor connector connection
  • Intake system for air leakage
  • Binding throttle valve
  • PCSV
  • Throttle body
Case 2
  • Fuel cut-off during stand-still and idle condition
Enable Conditions
  • Engine coolant temperature is greater than 55°C (131°F)
  • IAT is greater than -10.5°C (13.1°F)
  • Accelerator pedal is same as 0%
  • Vehicle speed is same as 0
  • Barometric pressure is greater than 74.5 kPa
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Difference between actual engine speed and target engine speed is greater than 200 RPM
  • Difference between minimum idle torque and actual idle torque is greater than 20Nm
Case 2
  • Fuel cut-off is greater than 3 times
Diagnostic Time
  • 8s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
