DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Engine speed is below the target while idle speed control torque is around the maximum
  • Poor connector connection
  • Intake system for blockage
  • Throttle plate for carbon deposits
  • Throttle plate
Enable Conditions
  • Engine coolant temperature is greater than 55°C (131°F)
  • IAT is greater than -10.5°C (13.1°F)
  • Accelerator pedal is same as 0%
  • Vehicle speed is same as 0
  • Barometric pressure is greater than 74.5 kPa
Threshold Value
  • Difference between target engine speed and actual engine speed is greater than 100 RPM
  • Difference between maximum idle torque and actual idle torque is greater than 10Nm
Diagnostic Time
  • 8s

  • 2 driving cycles
