DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the ELCM pressure of reference orifice
  • FTPS
  • EVAP system
  • PCSV
  • Fuel system
  • Canister
Enable Conditions
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (11 to 16V)
  • Barometric pressure is greater than 75 kPa
  • Fuel tank level is less than 85%
  • ELCM air temperature at engine stop of last driving cycle is greater than 4°C (39.2°F)
  • ELCM ambient temperature decrease during engine off is greater than 6°C (42.8°F)
  • Engine off duration is between 3.5 to 10 hours
  • When the difference between the atmospheric pressure at key off and the atmospheric pressure at the next key on is less than 6 kPa
Threshold Value
  • Performance abnormality detected in the purge system
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediately
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
